Rebekka Ann Mazzullo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rebekka “Bekki” Ann Mazzullo on December 27, 2025, at the age of 32. Rebekka was born on January 27, 1993, and raised on Kent Island, Maryland, where she lived her life to the fullest—with passion, grace, unmatched strength, and always a little bit of flair. Rebekka had traveled to spend Christmas with her father, Doug. On her journey home, she made a few stops to explore, as she so loved to do. While visiting Falls Lake in North Carolina, Rebekka’s life was tragically cut short. While there is never a right way to say goodbye, she left this world doing something that brought her joy—exploring and embracing life. Rebekka was a loving daughter, a devoted sister, a cherished girlfriend, and a deeply beloved soul to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She touched countless lives in ways too numerous to list, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. She lived with intention and heart, dedicating herself to hard work, travel, learning, and bringing smiles to those around her. Rebekka was endlessly talented—she hunted, fished, skydived, knitted, sewed, collected, antiqued, and pursued every interest with curiosity and enthusiasm. There was nothing she approached halfway; she always put her whole self forward, and once her mind was set, stopping her wasn’t an option. Rebekka is survived by her loving father, Doug; her brother, Robert; her boyfriend, Nick; extended family members; and many friends who became family. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Rebekka is now reunited with her beloved mother, granny, and grandad surrounded once again by the love that shaped her so deeply. Her family adored her. Her friends became family. Rebekka loved deeply and wholeheartedly. She will be missed by so many, and her loss leaves a profound and lasting impact on her community. In her honor, we can strive to live more fully, love more deeply, and cherish life the way she did. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Helfenbein’s Funeral Home. A closed-casket visitation will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by a graveside service beginning at 1:15 p.m. A celebration of Rebekka’s life will follow at the Kent Island Elks Lodge beginning at 2:30pm.
