Peter Albert Srsic

Peter Albert Srsic passed away unexpectedly from natural causes at his place of residence in Chester, Maryland. He was 65 years old. Peter Albert Srsic was born in Baltimore, Maryland at Johns Hopkins Hospital on February 18th, 1960 . He was raised in Severna Park and later resided in Queenstown, Maryland. He attended Martin Spalding High School in Severn, Maryland. Then, after his high school graduation he attended Loyola College in Baltimore, Maryland, where he studied psychology. He graduated from Loyola College on May 30, 1982. He went on to earn his master’s in psychology from Catholic University in Washington D.C. Peter held several jobs in his lifetime. He worked for the Ty Beanie Baby Company at the height of their popularity. Then, for years he was the manager of Miss Betty’s Hallmark Store on Kent Island. He loved talking to the customers and helping them choose the perfect gift or card. Peter loved to talk to people and many remember him working at Miss Betty’s Hallmark. It was in this position where he learned how to engrave glasses and trophies. After the store closed, he opened his own business engraving locally. He engraved trophies for Little League, yacht clubs, country clubs, oceanside souvenir shops and personal gifts. People would always remark how lovely his engraving projects turned out. He had a talent for engraving and was very proud of the work that he did. Peter also loved sports. He was a huge Ravens and Orioles fan. He would attend all the Ravens home games along with tailgating with his best buddies. He would never miss the opening day of the Orioles. Peter loved going to Saratoga to watch the horse races and he attended many Preakness races in Baltimore, Maryland. He loved watching game shows, such as Jeopardy being his favorite. He had quite a memory of trivia and loved to attend trivia nights at the local restaurants. Peter was very devoted to his family and friends. He had such a good heart and would do anything for anyone. This was evident when he helped care for his father with ALS and then his elderly mother. Peter loved being with his Loyola college friends. They were his extended family. Peter will fondly be remembered for his sweetness, kindness and his loyalty to his family and friends. He will be very much missed. Peter is survived by his siblings and family, Karen Srsic, Elizabeth Conolly, her husband Peter Conolly and Rebecca Mobley. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Sarah Staudt, her husband Jay Staudt, Caroline Evans, her husband Chase Evans, Erin Conolly, Rachel Carlson, Anna Marie Carlson, and Raymond Anderson, and his grandnieces and nephew, Xander Staudt, Lily Staudt, Nora Staudt, and Landon Staudt. He is also survived by other family members living in North Carolina, Pennsylvania and many other states. Peter, or “Pete” as he was called, enjoyed a good life being with his family, friends and attending his many sports outings. We know we will meet again and will miss you very much. We love you always, Pete! A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at St. Christopher’s Church in Chester, Maryland. A visitation will be held from 8-9:30 am at Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home in Chester, MD. Then a mass following at 10 AM located at St. Christopher’s Church. After the funeral mass, there will be a Christian burial at St. Peter’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Queenstown, Maryland.
