Margaret Elizabeth Schrock

Margaret Elizabeh Schrock of Sudlersville, MD passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026 in Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. She was 77. Margaret was born June 16, 1948 in Dover, DE the daughter of the late John Wesley Thorpe and Mary Emily “Cannon” Thorpe. She attended school in Millington and Galena through the ninth grade. Margaret began working for Leed’s Travelware as a seamstress. She then worked as a cook at the Unicorn Store in Millington for several years. She then went to work at Bay Resins for a few years before she started working at Hardwood Mills where she retired in 2009. Margaret was a member of the Eagles Club in Dagsboro and the VFW in both Millington and Rehobeth as well as the Moose Lodge in Dagsboro. She enjoyed spending summers at Tuckahoe Acres Camp Ground in Dagsboro, were for over 30 years, she and Kenny made many friends and wonderful memories. She also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, socializing at Lena’s, playing Keno, and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenny Schrock, two brothers, Jerry Thorpe and John “Buddy” Thorpe and one sister, Celia “Baby Doll” Thorpe. She is survived by her son, Robert “Turk” Pearson (Vicki) of Sudlersville, MD, daughter, Karen Coby (Gary) of West Virginia, one sister, Lillie Marie Alexander (Mike) of Millington, MD, two brothers, Chris Thorpe (Carla) of Chestertown, MD, Wilbur Thorpe (Ruth) of Still Pond, MD, two grandsons, William F. Palmatory (Bonny) of Milton, DE, Shane Pleasanton of Warwick, MD, two granddaughters, Krystle Williamson (RD) of Marydel, MD, Samantha Poppiti (Adam) of Georgetown, DE, four great grandsons, Hunter Hurd of Mardel, MD, Wyatt Hurd of Marydel, MD, Jayden Taylor of Marydel, MD, and Paul (PJ) Whitlock of Easton, MD and one great granddaughter. Avery Grace Williamson of Marydel, MD, and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026 from 10-11am at Fellows Family Funeral Home 370 Cypress St. Millington, MD 21651. A service will follow at 11am. Interment will be in Crumpton Cemetery.
