With solemn hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Kevin Michael White (Easton, Maryland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 1, 2025, at the age of 68 surrounded by his wife and dog. He passed unexpectedly due to complications of stage four pancreatic cancer recently diagnosed a few months ago. Family and friends can send flowers and condolences in memory of the loved one. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kevin Michael White to pay them a last tribute. Kevin was born in Lancaster, PA on June 18, 1957, to Larry Lee White and Janice Peters. Following high school, Kevin earned his master’s degree in mechanical engineering. After earning his degree, he began his career as a brilliant mechanical engineer, involving patents on jet engines and developing unique green energy technology. Kevin worked at the NRG Indian River Power Plant in Delaware, Air Liquide and Air Products both located in Texas. Kevin always had a smile and loved life. He loved to be outside in nature specifically wind surfing and paddleboarding with his wife. He had a love for music and enjoyed playing the harmonica. He collected a lot of albums and loved to go to concerts with his wife Nathalie. When the daughters were young, he enjoyed building tree houses and computers with Emily. He married Nathalie Derakshani on September 25, 2010. Together they created a life full of love with many wonderful and adventurous memories. The two of them had lots of fun together, snorkeling, paddleboarding, playing backgammon, lounging on floaties in the bay, bird watching, watching sunsets, watching movies, always laughing and traveling with their two pets, Honeybear and Rocky. He enjoyed family gatherings the most, visits with his daughters Emily, Kate and granddaughter Selena, brother Jere and family, his mom Janice and stepbrother Bud and family when he visited Florida. He liked golfing, biking and walking with his wife and dog Honeybear. Kevin is preceded in death by his father, Larry White; stepfather, Frank; stepmother; Joyce; and grandparents, Charles and Betty White and James and Stella Peters. He is survived by his loving wife, Nathalie Derakshani (Easton, MD); daughters, Kate (Cesar) and Emily (Will)(TX); granddaughter, Selena (TX); mother, Janice (Lancaster, PA); brother, Jere (Julie) (PA); stepbrother and stepsister, Bud (Cathy)(FL) and Sis(NC); five nephews and five nieces; mother of his children, Stacye (TX); and loving friends, who considered Kevin their best friend. In the quiet moments of reflection, let us honor Kevin's memory by embracing the beauty of each fleeting moment, knowing that his spirit resides in the eternal tapestry of existence, forever woven into the fabric of our hearts. A memorial graveside service will be held on Friday September 26, 2025, at 2pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park Columbarium. Immediately following the graveside, a Celebration of Life will be held at Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home in Easton, MD from 3pm – 5pm.
