Dina Michelle Harris

Dina Michelle Harris, a beacon of love, loyalty, and grace, graced this world with her presence for 58 memorable years. On December 12, 2023, she passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire for generations to come. Born on July 13th, 1965, Dina's life journey was a testament to passion, dedication, and unwavering love for her family, friends, and longtime coworkers. Dina's early years were marked by her education at Holy Redeemer, Regina High School and Parkdale High School. It was during these formative years that she developed friendships that lasted a lifetime. Dina's professional life was dedicated to being an exceptional credit manager and coworker, displaying a spirit of teamwork and determination that would define her character throughout her life. In 1983, Dina embarked on a new chapter in her life by marrying the love of her life, Charlie Harris. Their love story was a testament to shared adventures and enduring love of "forty plus years". Together, they raised two children, Mikel Anne and Charles IV, who, in turn, blessed them with two cherished grandchildren: Madge and Aribelle. She was one of nine children begot by James Felix and the late Joan Morgal Harkleroad of College Park, MD. She is survived by "too many to count" siblings, nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, son-in-law and in-laws. Dina's family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them, creating lasting memories and traditions. Throughout her life, Dina embraced various passions and pursuits. She enjoyed traveling, Disney trips, concerts, going to the casino, family parties, her ticket games and crafting. Her impact on the lives of her family and friends will forever be cherished. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 6pm - 8pm at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home in Chester, MD. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 beginning at 11am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in College Park with burial to follow. As we remember Dina, we celebrate a life well-lived, a love well-shared, and a legacy that will continue to inspire for generations to come.
