Sharon Faith Price

Sharon Faith Price of Centreville peacefully left the embrace of her family and loved ones to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in her home She recently celebrated the milestone of her 50th birthday. Born February 24, 1961 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of William Howard Coyle Jr. and Elizabeth Jane Fillhart. She grew up on Kent Island and graduated from Queen Anne’s County High School, Class of 1979. She attended Chesapeake College and later graduated from Salisbury State College with BA degree in education and math. On July 16, 1983 she married her high school sweetheart, John Howard Price. Sharon began her career in education as a math and science teacher in the Kent County Public School System in 1983. After a brief hiatus for the birth of her third son, Jordan, she began teaching at Radcliffe Creek School in Chestertown, MD in 1998 as a math teacher and eventually became the head of the math department. She also was part owner of Price and Gannon True Value, Centreville, MD and co-owner of JBK True Value in Chestertown, MD. She enjoyed teaching, the beach, working in her garden, reading, spending time with her dogs and her family. Survived by her beloved husband, John H. Price of Centreville, MD; her mother, Elizabeth Jane Libertini of Church Hill, MD; her father, William Howard Coyle , Jr. of Aberdeen, MD; three sons, Jason Howard Price and his wife, Courtney Jeanne of Chestertown, MD, Bennett Hall Price of Pomona, MD and Jordan Carter Price of Centreville, MD; sister, Deborah Hope Clarke of Stevensville, MD; a brother, William Howard Coyle, III of California; and her three four-legged girls, Riley, Sadie and Ellie. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the Centreville United Methodist Church, Centreville, MD. Friends and family may call at the Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, P. A., Centreville, MD on Friday, March 11, 2011 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM. Burial will be at Chesterfield Cemetery, Centreville, MD.
