Dennis Craig Hulton Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Dennis Craig Hulton, 75, of Millington, MD, passed away on February 12, 2022, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Dennis was born on September 11, 1946, to Hubert Hulton II and Doris Mae Clemens in Reading, PA. After graduating from Conestoga High School in 1964, he went on to study Industrial Arts at Millersville State College receiving his BA Degree. While in college Dennis enlisted in the United States Naval Reserve and served from 1965-1973. He became qualified in submarines in 1971 and served on board the USS Tigrone AGSS-419 while on active duty. Dennis was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of his children and Phyllis, and always tried his best to support them. Dennis was also passionate about his boats and being out on the water. Dennis had a remarkable professional career at Valley Forge Tape and Label, where he served as company Vice President for many years. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife: Phyllis Hulton of Millington, MD; his children: Jeffrey Hulton of Stuart, FL; Christina Fissel of Collegeville, PA; his stepchildren: Matthew Gehling (Rita) of Wilmington, DE; Morgan Bishop of Suddlersville, MD; his brothers and sisters: H. James Hulton, III. (Alyce) of North Wales, PA; Patti Meyers (Karl) of Birchronville, PA; Paul Meyers (Linda) of Pottstown, PA; and two grandchildren and two step grandchildren. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations are made to the Wounded Warrior Project. There will be a Funeral Service at Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, 200 South Harrison Street, Easton, MD 21601, on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 1:00 pm with a visitation starting at 12:00 pm. Interment will be in Oxford, MD.
