Tricia McMahon

Patricia “Tricia” Lynn McMahon (Wishart) of Stevensville, MD passed away peacefully on July 21st, 2021. She was 48 years old and was a devoted wife, mother and daughter. Tricia was born on August 21st, 1972 to Kenneth and Norma Wishart, both of Annapolis. Along with her parents, she is survived by her husband, Kevin McMahon of Stevensville, her beloved son Connor McMahon of Stevensville and numerous Aunts and Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. She is predeceased by her grandparents Henry and Patricia Ingle and Lt. Col (USAF) James and Marilyn Wishart. Tricia was raised in Annapolis where she attended public schools and graduated from Annapolis Senior High in 1990. She was voted Most Valuable Player of her field hockey team where she made lifelong friends that were a big part of her life. After graduation from high school she attended Salisbury State University and graduated in 1994 with a degree in English. Tricia worked at Homeowner’s Title & Escrow where she worked with real estate settlements for many years. She then went to work at Severn Savings Bank where she had a successful career as a loan officer. Tricia’s true desire was to be an elementary grade teacher. She received her Master’s degree and pursued a career in teaching. She touched the lives of many people throughout her 10 years teaching first grade at Matapeake Elementary. She was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching the Baltimore Ravens and Washington Capitals. She enjoyed all outdoor activities, such as swimming and horseback riding, as well as ballet and spending time with family and friends. Her true enjoyment was watching her son, Connor, play lacrosse. A visitation for Tricia will be held on Wednesday, July 28th from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home 106 Shamrock road Chester, MD 21619. A Funeral mass will take place on Thursday, July 29th at 11:00 at St. Christopher’s Catholic Church 1861 Harbor Drive Chester, MD 21619. Burial will follow mass in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Queentown, MD.
