Theodore Paul Kral

Theodore Paul Kral, 90, of Easton, MD, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025. Born in Chicago, IL, to Marie Keil Kral and Dr. Theodore Thomas Kral, D.D.S., Ted was a proud graduate of Loyola Academy and in 1957 earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from his beloved Northwestern University. Ted began his professional journey in Chicago, where he worked for Central Envelope and Lithography Company for seven years. In 1965, he relocated to Allentown, PA, to join Boise Cascade Envelope. It was during a business visit to The National Geographic Society in Washington, DC, that he met the love of his life, Ellinore Booth Bargamin. They were married on November 30, 1968, and together they created a beautiful life in the Lehigh Valley, raising two children, Emilie and Teddie, who brought them immense joy. After retiring in 1997, Ted and Booth spent their years in Savannah, GA and Lake Jovita, FL where they enjoyed lots of golf, gourmet dinner clubs, bridge groups and many cherished moments with friends and family. An avid outdoorsman, Ted was particularly passionate about golf, achieving five holes-in-one during his retirement, and bird hunting. He was also a dedicated decoy collector, often reminiscing about his time spent on the Eastern Shore with friends, concluding evenings at the Decoy Bar at the Tidewater. Ted had a fondness for coffee, Moose Tracks ice cream, and a nice buttery chardonnay. Ted was preceded in death by his wife, Ellinore Booth Bargamin, his mother, father, and sister, Marie “Penny” Kral Kobeski (Ron). Ted is survived by his siblings, Barbara Kral Binder (Jim) and Thomas Kral, as well as his beloved children, Emilie Carson Kral Coakley (John) and Theodore Keil Kral (Page). He was a proud grandfather to five cherished grandchildren: William Wayland Coakley, Ellinore Stanton Coakley, Thomas Spencer Coakley, Winston Graham Kral, and Katharine Booth Kral. A celebration of Ted's life will be held Saturday, May 31st in Easton, MD, allowing the family time to prepare for this special tribute. Location is to be determined. In honor of Ted's love for golf and wildlife, the family kindly requests that donations be made to your local chapter of First Tee or Ducks Unlimited. During this difficult time, may we find comfort in the memories we shared with Ted and the love he bestowed upon us. His legacy will forever inspire us.
