Sara M. Crispell

Sara Marie Crispell of Millington, MD died Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, MD following injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on August 16, 2011. She was 21. Sara Marie Crispell was born June 7, 1990 in Silver Spring, MD, the daughter of Michele Rose Morgan and Duane French Crispell. Sara has lived in Forestville, MD, Denton, MD, and moved to Millington, MD ten years ago. She was a 2008 graduate of Queen Anne’s County High school. She then attended Chesapeake College before receiving her Maryland Board of Nursing Certifications as a GNA and CNA through the Federal Job Corps Program. Sara worked as a Geriatric Nursing Assistant at Chester River Manor in Chestertown, MD where she was loved by all of her patients and co-workers. Sara was planning to continue her education and become a registered nurse. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, David and Rosemarie Castle. She is survived by her mother, Michele Rose Morgan of Millington, MD, her father Duane French Crispell of Marbury, MD; sister, Whitney Morgan of Denton, MD; grandparents, Julia and Stephen Crispell of Lakewood Ranch, FL, grandmother, Sue Ellen Harper of Georgetown, CA; her loving aunts, Bridgette Mahoney and husband, Jeffrey of Millington, MD, Eileen DeAtley and husband, John of Easton, MD, Sharon Frances of North Beach, MD, Mary Katherine Escalona and husband, Luis of Waldorf, MD, and Donna Horan of Mechanicsville, MD; her devoted uncles, Carl Crispell and wife, Loren of Knoxville, MD, Steven Horan and wife, Shari of Hedgesville, WV, and W. Thomas Horan and wife, Kimberly of Fairfax Station, VA; her loving cousins, Amanda Mahoney, Mark Pearson, Brittney Pearson, Victoria Mahoney, Michael Mahoney and 14 additional cousins and numerous extended family members and many friends and neighbors. Services will be held Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 2pm at Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home, 370 Cypress St., Millington, MD 21651. Visitation will be held from 12 - 2pm. Interment will be held in Crumpton Cemetery in Crumpton, MD following the service. In lieu of flowers contributions can be sent to the American Cancer Society, Eastern Shore Chapter, P.O.
