Robert F. Dulin Sr.

Robert F. “Bunky” Dulin, Sr., of Cordova, MD, died at the Shore Medical Center in Easton, MD, on December 15, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was 89 years old. Born in Easton on June 4, 1933, he was the son of the late Omer, Sr., and Pauline Councell Dulin. After graduating from Easton High School in 1952, he devoted his entire life to farming. He worked for 20 years as a Field Man for S.E.W. Friel Company and owned and farmed the Tanyard Farm on Old Skipton Rd. since 1960. He was a devoted, loyal family man. One of Bunk’s greatest joys and accomplishments was his family. He valued spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and was often seen attending many of their various events. His other passion was his garden. He had no greater joy than growing vegetables and feeding his entire community. He was a member of the St. Mark’s Church in Easton. His other memberships included the Talbot County Farm Bureau, the Tuckahoe Steam and Gas Association, the Elks Club, the Eastern Shore Threshermen, Eastern Shore Jousting Association and Saddle Friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Webb Dulin; two brothers, Omer Dulin, Jr., and Donald Dulin; and two sisters, Ruth Winbourn and Becky Sharp. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Dulin; two daughters, Sherry Dulin and her husband, Jay, of Easton and Debbie Walls and her husband, Preston, of Ridgely; two sons, Robert F “Bunky” Dulin, Jr., and his wife, Althea, of Cordova and Webb Dulin Sr. and his wife, Dawn, of Hudson; and nine grandchildren, Michelle Pepper (Greg), Tabby Evans (Matt), Laci Patterson (Dave), Kimberly Kincaid (Kurt), Brittany Cutler (Sam), Lindy Schrader (Brett), Mandy DoBell-Carlsson (Trevor), Webb Dulin, Jr. (Alicia), and Melissa Meiklejohn (Travis). He was also blessed with sixteen great-grandchildren and two more on the way, as well as his loving companion, Sissy. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 19, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and another on Tuesday, December 20, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Easton. A funeral service at 10 a.m. will follow. Burial will be private. Donations in memory of Bunk Dulin can be made to the Talbot Hospice Foundation, 586 Cynwood Dr., in Easton, MD.
