Pauline Mary Lipocky

Pauline Mary Lipocky, aged 89, died peacefully on August 23, 2018, in the community of Integrace Bayleigh Chase in Easton, MD. Pauline was born in Cleveland, OH, on March 20, 1929, daughter to Michael and Elizabeth Haladey. She grew up in Cleveland as the middle child to her late brother, Joseph, and her siste,r Mary Lou Hriczo. Pauline met her husband Raymond Lipocky at a high school dance and soon after they married on October 8, 1949. Pauline and Raymond moved their family several times during their marriage and settled in St. Michaels, MD. Throughout their 68-year marriage, she was a devoted Catholic who always put God, her husband, and family first. She was the shining example of happiness, love. and selflessness to anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Pauline devoted over 1500 hours to the Easton Cancer Center – UM, Shore Regional Health, working tirelessly to help others who adored and needed her tender touch. Next to volunteering, her passions included cooking ethnic food for her family, dancing to Tom Jones music, and cheering on the Baltimore Ravens. Pauline and Raymond had a large and beautiful family to include six dedicated children; three daughters-in- law and two sons-in-law who all adored and cherished her; Garry Lipocky of Camillus, NY, Dr. Tony and Cindy Calabro of Trappe, MD, Alan and Joanne Lipocky of Medway, MA, Ray and Lori Lipocky of Columbus, GA, Mark and Lori Lipocky of Charlotte, NC, and David and Mary Burke of Severna Park, MD. Pauline was also blessed with nine grandchildren, Mike McKenzie, Hailey Hays, Chelsea Lipocky, Sarah Lipocky, Andy Lipocky, Eric Lipocky, Anna Lipocky, Grace Burke and David Burke, III, who will all miss her endless love and care of them. The family wishes to truly thank all of those who sincerely cared for her during her time at Integrace Bayleigh Chase. Their unending dedication to her comfort and care will long be remembered. Memoriald donations may be made to the Cancer Center at UM, Shore Regional Health, 509 Idlewild Avenue, Easton, MD 21601. A memorial service will take place at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, DC, where upon Raymond’s passing, they will be laid to rest together.
