Neal Francis O'Shea

Surrounded by his family, Neal Francis O’Shea passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on Sunday, April 16, 2023. Born September 14, 1930, to Florence and Cornelius “Joe” O’Shea, Neal grew up in Providence, Rhode Island. As the Vice President of International Franchising for Jiffy Lube International, Neal’s career in finance culminated with a 1987 move to Paris, France, where he and his wife, Pat, resided for three years while Neal oversaw operations in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. Neal and his family settled in Easton, MD, 20 years ago, where Neal was an active member of the community. He was a faithful member of SS Peter and Paul Parish, and he served on both the Board of Directors for St. Mark’s Village and as a member of the Auxiliary for Easton Hospital where he completed two terms as President of the Auxiliary. For 15 years at the front desk, he brightened the day of hospital visitors with a smile and a funny anecdote. Neal was an avid traveler and reader who loved his family and his cats. He looked forward to family celebrations and enjoyed nothing more than seeing his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren enjoy sunny days and doughnuts at the beach house. Neal is survived by his wife of 53 years, Pat O’Shea; two daughters, Erin O’Shea and Ann Villareal and her husband, Bill Villareal; son, Matt O’Shea and his wife, Patti; grandchildren, Ryan Villareal and his wife, Vanessa Villareal, Caitlin Villareal and her husband, Trevor Kenahan, Maddie Villareal, Caroline Villareal, Sunny O’Shea, Michael O’Shea, and Neal O’Shea; two great-grandchildren, Jaxon Villareal and Gavin Villareal; and his beloved cats, Noah and Noelle.
