Lori Jo Sale

On October 19th, 2025, our family said goodbye to our heart with the passing of our beautiful Lori Jo: compassionate, full of love, and unforgettable to anyone who may have known her. Lori Jo had a smile that could light up any room. She was a mother, daughter, sister, and a dear friend to many-- always devoted herself to being there for others, offering a big hug, or laughter. She had a way of making people feel seen, welcomed, and appreciated through kindness. She was a firm believer in treating everyone how you would like to be treated. Lori Jo was a selfless giver, and brought joy to everyone who knew and loved her. Above all, Lori Jo adored her two beautiful daughters, her family, and her dog, Pearl. She was the type of mother anyone would be lucky to call their own. She raised her daughters with a sincere kind of love, and instilled in them how important strength, kindness, and loyalty all are. Not to mention the power of sharing and giving. She was married to their father for 20+ years, and together they gave their daughters wonderful childhood memories, including boating, that will last a lifetime. She cherished her loved ones by celebrating them and their successes, and being there for them during their losses. She was a confidant and the biggest supporter to her daughters. Among many things, she planned every birthday with immense detail, and brought vivacious fun to these moments. She was so driven in her line of work and enjoyed helping those in her industry as a senior loan processor and underwriter for over 30 years. Gone too soon, her daughters know her light will shine on in them and at their futures in all that they endeavor. Her faith was believing wholeheartedly in God, Heaven, and the promise of eternal life. Her faith gives us peace knowing that our merciful God will take care of her soul. Please continue to uplift her in prayer. We will remember Lori Jo’s warmth, strong will, and passion for the ones she loved. Her legacy lives on by this selfless love she gave so freely, her beauty, and all the memories of her we will carry on for forever. She will be gravely missed by many. She leaves behind the prides of her life, her two daughters: Katelyn Pollacco and her husband Maxim, and Kendall Payne and her husband Jake. She was a beloved sister to Steve Sale, Donna Cook, and Terri Sale, and was a cherished daughter of Peggy and Dale Jaggar. She shared a special friend like no other, Dennis Anthony. She is preceded in death by her father, Victor Sale, Jr. A funeral service will be held at Fellows, Helfenbein, & Newnam Funeral Home in Chester, Maryland on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation in Lori Jo's memory as it was something she was very passionate about and loved.
