George W. Weber

George W. Weber died at his home on the Miles River in Easton, MD on Thursday, March 13, 2008. He lost his battle to cancer, he was 77. Born December 2, 1930 in Bucktown- Cambridge, MD, he was the son of the late George W., Sr. and Pauline Leonard Weber. Mr. Weber worked in several sales positions over the years including cars, insurance and windows before becoming sales manager of new and used cars/trucks at various Ford dealers in the Easton area. His employment then took him to the Western Shore where he managed several additional Ford dealerships. In 1990, he established owned and operated Weber Lawn Care until selling the business in 2002. He then established Advanced Stump Grinding, a business that he owned and remained active in until the time of his death. He was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Easton, B.P.O. Easton Elks Lodge #1622, the Miles River Yacht Club, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Cambridge Masonic Lodge #0066 AF & AM, and American Legion Post #88, of Cambridge, Mr. Weber was one of the founders and past presidents of A.S.K. (Activities Singles Klub) in which he recently received the standing of honorary life member. Mr. Weber loved the outdoors and boating on the Miles River with his numerous friends who were very important to him.. He was a man who loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and he enjoyed being able to spend time with them. He had strong faith and loved the Lord. He lived life to the fullest and did things his way to the end. Mr. Weber is survived by three daughters, Terri Storms and her husband Donald of Marriottsville, MD, Kim Mullikin of Easton, MD and Sandi Ward of Chesapeake Beach, MD; and a sister-in-law, Doris Weber of Cambridge, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a very devoted grandfather to Jessica Barnes and her husband Tommy, Brandon Parrott and his fiancé Larissa, Andrew Parrott and his fiancé Lindsey, Joel Storms, Brett Longfellow, and especially to Kadey Pfister, and Grayson Pfister whom he visited daily, even during his illness; and two great-grandchildren, Jackson Barnes and Gracie Parrott. He was predeceased by two brothers, Jake Weber and Rudy Weber. Family and friends may call on Monday, March 17, 2008 from 5 to 7pm at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Easton, MD. A memorial service will be held at St. Marks on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 11:00 AM.
