Gayle Ann Kinnamon

Gayle Ann Kinnamon passed away at home on June 17, 2025, at the age of 82. She spent her last days surrounded by her loving family and many friends. Gayle was born in Ontario, Canada to the late Francis and Margaret O’Halloran. As a young woman, her adventures led her to Atlantic City, New Jersey where she met the man who would become the love of her life, Dale Kinnamon. Gayle soon left her life in Canada moving to a farm in Caroline County where she and Dale began a marriage that lasted 63 years. Eventually, they settled on a farm in Sudlersville, Maryland. Their love story would result in 4 children, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren with another great grandchild on the way. Gayle was a school bus driver for Queen Anne’s County Public Schools for 40 years, operated the GNC Deli in Sudlersville for two years, and worked on the farm everyday with Dale. Gayle loved to travel, cook for her family and others, knit, sit by the pool, and watch wild birds while sitting on her porch. Most of all, Gayle loved having her family all together for large meals and to spend time together. Gayle also loved attending church at Holden’s Chapel with her church family. Gayle was preceded in death by one daughter, Robin Parker (Kevin). Gayle is survived by her husband of 63 years, Dale Kinnamon, a son Francis Kinnamon (Sheila) of Sudlersville MD, two daughters, Tracy Whitzel (Jeff) of Easton MD, and Kelly Embert (Dwayne) of Sudlersville, MD, several grandchildren including Tyler Parker (Lacey), Taylor Adsit (Kyle), Scott Kinnamon (Lauralye), Dylan Kinnamon (Sarah), Nicholas Kinnamon (Sydney), Katelyn Whitzel (Clayton), Chad Whitzel (Amelia), Bradley Embert (Sterling) and Alexandria Embert (Peter), and many great grandchildren including Hayden, Weston, Reed, Raelynn, Ava, Owen, Sienna, and the newest addition expected in September. Before her passing Gayle wanted to ensure that her obituary included a special thanks to all of the physicians, nurses and medical professionals that always provided exceptional and loving care during her illness. A visitation will be held Monday, June 23, 2025 from 10am-12pm at Fellows Family Funeral Home 370 Cypress St. Millington, MD 21651 A Celebration of Life will begin at 12pm.
