William Ball Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

William "Bill" R Ball, 90, of Easton Maryland, passed away on February 1, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Joan; his children Linda, Christine, Matthew, and Stephen; his grandchildren Robert, Richard, Hannah, Julia, and Jacqueline; and his great granddaughter Solace. He was a kind and loving husband to his wife Joan, as well as an amazing father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and father figure to his niece Carolyn and nephew Mark both of whom he loved as though they were his own children. Bill loved spending time with his family and friends above all else. Through the years he enjoyed his cooking, his vegetable garden, crossword puzzles, softball, bowling, jogging, photography, and especially GOLF. He had a keen sense of humor and sincerely wanted to put a smile on the face of everyone he met. He spent many years doing volunteer work at his Church through the St Vincent de Paul Society and Holy Name Society. He loved and was devoted to his Church and Church family. As a young man, he served our country and is a war time veteran of the U.S. Navy. He genuinely served all who knew him. He will be remembered for his enormous heart, his undying love for family and friends, and his quiet and humble way of caring for others. There will be a public visitation held at Fellows, Helfenbein, & Newnam Funeral Home, 200 S. Harrison Street, Easton on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from 12-2 p.m. with a funeral service to begin at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project; support.woundedwarriorproject.org. or P.O.
