Shawn Timothy Goad

Shawn Timothy Goad of Millington, MD passed away Monday, Dec. 20, 2021. He was 52. Shawn was born Sept. 21, 1969, in Annapolis, MD the son of Roy J. Goad and the late Ivadell “Reece” Goad. He graduated from Queen Anne’s High School in 1987 and helped run the family business. R & S Logging; alongside his father for 25 years. Shawn was an avid waterfowl hunter and could make a goose call sing; he currently served as President of Kent County Gun Club and was also a Member of ATA. He loved spending time with his family and friends and was happiest among his trap shooting and hunting buddies. He is survived by his wife Lori A. Goad of Millington, MD, three sons, Shawn Michael Goad (Chelsie) of Millington, MD, Logan Welch (Anna) of Chestertown, MD, Chris Welch of Millington, MD, one grandson, Jamison D. Goad of Millington, MD two brothers, Jeff Goad and Neal Goad both of Millington, MD, father, Roy J. Goad of Millington, MD, father-in-law, Andy Cummerford of Millington, MD, one niece, Delaney Jewell of Millington, brother-in-law, David Cummerford (Brandy) of Millington, MD and special family friend, Amie Glanding. A visitation will be held Wed, Dec. 29, 2021, from 5-7pm at Fellows Family Funeral Home 370 Cypress St. Millington, MD. Friends may also visit on Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021 from 10-11am also at the funeral home. A service will begin at 11am. Interment will follow the service in Crumpton Cemetery in Crumpton, MD.
