April 13, 1959 - September 3, 2021
Pamela “Pam” Sue Wagner of Centreville, formerly of Annapolis was a caring, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on Friday, September 3, 2021. She was 62 years old. Her battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed her courage in facing life challenges. Despite the pain, Pam came out a hero and stayed strong until the end. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. Born on April 13, 1959, in Charleston, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Martin Allen and Gayle Blackshire Richardson. Pam graduated from Severna Park High School and received an Associate degree from Anne Arundel Community College. Pam was a complex spirit, world-renowned for her knack of telling it like it is. Those who loved her dearly will never forget her tenacity, wit, and unique brand of charm. Everyone always knew where they stood with Pam. She was a lifestyle expert someone to call on for cooking guidance, plant care advice (although her top-secret plant food recipe leaves this world with her), how to arrange and rearrange your furniture, and for providing unsolicited medical advice. She will be remembered for her bottomless love for animals, something that was admired by many. Pam’s home was affectionally referred to by her daughters as the ‘petting zoo’. The aforementioned tenacity once led to a pet store banishing and ended in the recuse mission/pet adoptions of her beloved dog Kooper and cat Sugar carried out by her obedient daughters. She will be sorely missed and is survived by her stunningly beautiful daughters, Leah Heck (Ian) of Linthicum Heights, MD and Lauren Wagner of Pasadena, MD; three grandchildren, Harland Heck, Dean Frederick, and Sophia Frederick. Also survived by sisters, Lisa Miller (David) of Shady Side, MD, Cheryl Cannon (Joseph) of Greenspring WV, and Nicola Moxey (Brandon) of Centreville, MD; brothers, Benjamin Richardson (Daniela) of CA and Jeffery Marshall (Joann) of CA. She was preceded in death by her husband Dean Wagner, and her sister Rebecca Mayer. Pam, despite her objection to a ‘fuss over her’, will be honored in celebration of life on September 24, 2021, at the Downs Park Brightwater pavilion located at 8311 John Downs Loop Pasadena, MD 21122. Visiting hours are from 3-6 pm, In tribute to Pam’s love of animals, pets are encouraged to attend. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Annapolis SPCA .
