Earle Mark Dubel of Stevensville, MD went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 13, 2021. He is survived by his beloved wife Kathleen Dubel, five children, several grandchildren, and his sister Sharon Dubel. Mark was born in Baltimore, MD on July 6, 1953, the son of Margaret and Bruce Dubel. After graduating from Washington College, he started his career with Anne Arundel County Fire Department. Mark retired in 2019 after 43 years of service and as the department's most senior member. He was recognized by the Maryland Institute of Emergency Medical Services with the Leon W. Hayes Award for Excellence in EMS for his devotion to excellence in patient care, compassion, and respect while maintaining a continuous commitment to the improvement of the Maryland EMS system. Mark was involved with the Chesterwye Center for people with developmental disabilities where his sister Sharon resides. Many at Chesterwye knew and loved Mark. He was also very dedicated to the Island Alliance Church where he was active with the bible study at church and at home. As a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 29 years, his work with others helped many achieve sobriety. A visitation will be held on Tuesday October 19, 2021 from 4PM to 8PM at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home 106 Shamrock Road Chester, MD 21619. A memorial service will be held 11AM on Wednesday October 20, 2021 at the Island Alliance Church 510 Thompson Creek Road Stevensville, MD 21666. Where the service will be webcasted beginning at 11AM on the funeral homes website on Marks tribute page. A time of fellowship will immediately follow at the American Legion Post 278 in Stevensville, MD.
