Jerry William Childress

March 18, 1946 - March 22, 2022

Jerry William Childress, age 76, of Stevensville, Maryland passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2022 in a Bristol, Tennessee hospital. He was born in Richlands, Virginia and was the son of the late Hamilton and Mary Ruth Childress. He was retired from Verizon after 35 years of service. Jerry was a loving husband and father and was always willing to help out a family member in need. The best part of his family’s heart. He was a Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Phillip Childress. Survivors are: His Wife of 52 years: Lucky Childress Daughter: Deana Childress and fiancée, James Farabee of Stevensville, Maryland Son: Gary Childress and wife, Jen of Mesa, Arizona Brothers: Van Childress and wife, Joyce of Columbus, Ohio Roger Childress of Fairborn, Ohio Jim Childress and wife, Donna of Fairborn, Ohio
