Dana Therese Deguzman Poole Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Dana Therese Deguzman Poole of Douglassville, PA, passed away on June 3, 2021. She was 60 years old. Born on November 18, 1960, in Tarlac, Philippines, she was the daughter of Rodolfo Deguzman and Geraldine Andrukite Deguzman. Dana’s happiest moments were with her husband, Randy. The two of them loved camping, boating and traveling. If Randy wanted to whimsically get away for the weekend and told Dana on a Wednesday evening she would start planning immediately and, most likely, had 3 lists, meals planned, reservations made, and bags packed before he woke up on Thursday morning. Dana was also a “master shopper.” If she purchased something it was always in pairs and, usually, one was given away to someone she loved. She currently has all of her Christmas shopping done for Christmas 2021, and possibly, future years. Their many excursions were only made better if family members were able to join them on their adventures. Dana didn’t just have family, she connected with her family and was the glue that bound everyone together. She is survived by her siblings: brother Gary, his wife Christina and their children, Jeremy & Richelle, her brother Mark, his wife, Cindy, and their children Nathan, Alec, and Jared; her brother, Neil; her mother, Geri, and her father-in-law, Lawrence Poole. She adored her stepchildren: Kelly, her husband, Mike; Kim, her husband, Nate; and Randy, Jr. and his wife Amber. She was also an amazing Nana to her seven grandchildren and one great grandchild: Gabrielle, Madison, Tabitha, Caleb, Blake, Hunter, Jade and Andrea. She is predeceased by her father, Rudy Deguzman, and her mother-in-law, Margaret Poole. Dana also enjoyed, and took great pride, in her work at Jacobs Engineering and the many friends that she made there. There will be an outdoor, casual memorial service and celebration of life on Saturday, July 10th at 3:00 pm at the home of Mark and Cynthia Deguzman: 30151 Pahlmans Way, Queen Anne, MD 21657.
