Clark Alan Ferrin Sr Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Clark (Chuck) Alan Ferrin, Sr. of Salisbury, MD passed away suddenly on January 31, 2022. He was 57 years old. Born on April 21, 1964, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Charles (Buck) Edward Ferrin, Sr. and Frances Elenor DeZarn Ferrin Jones. Chuck grew up on the western shore but moved to Kent Island in his high school years, graduating from Queen Anne’s County High. For the last 25 years, he has worked in the trucking business and always loved where the roads took him. Second to the love of his family, Chuck’s true passion was music, especially karaoke. After singing his first song almost 9 years ago, he was hooked. When on karaoke tours Chuck was living his best life meeting great friends who became family. He eventually started his own karaoke/DJ service, Shore Tunes. Chuck was also an active member of the American Legion for many years, joining post 296 where he thought of members as his second family. He thoroughly enjoyed treating family and friends to his fabulous soups and desserts. Chuck loved his family, a good debate, and had an unbelievable talent to fix anything. Chuck is survived by his children, Martina Gauss (Steven), Alex Moore (Lisa), and Clark (CJ) Ferrin, Jr. (Valerie); Mom, Mary Ann Ferrin; brothers and sisters, Charles (Buck) Ferrin Jr. (Sherrie), Cyndi Scheler (Mike), Bonnie Roberts (John), Fred Bowles (Diane), and Mike Bowles; granddaughters, Emilee and Lucy Gauss; many nieces and nephews; best friend, Zoe Ferrin; his “Lil’ Legion” and Karaoke families. A Celebration of his life for close family and friends will be held on Saturday February 5, 2022, from 1pm to 3pm at the American Legion Post 296, Queenstown, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrance charitable donations be made in Chuck’s name to American Legion Post 296, 6200 Main Street, Queenstown, MD 21658.
