Carolyn Francis Miller Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Carolyn Francis Miller of Stevensville, MD, suddenly passed away on July 30, 2022. She now joins her beloved late husband of 39 years, Jerry, who passed in 1996. Born on June 2, 1938, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late John Harry and Florence Elizabeth Mildenberger. Carolyn was the heart of the Miller family, having raised 5 children. She worked in retail for nearly 40 years. Before she moved to Kent Island nearly 20 yrs ago, she lived in Halethorpe and was an active member of the Ascension Catholic Church as a volunteer in the parish office and a member of the Catholic Daughters. Her greatest pleasure in life was visiting with family and friends. She loved to cook, travel, was an avid reader and loved to spend time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Alexander (Pamela) Miller, Gregory (Norma) Miller, Victoria (Ken) Marshall, Timothy (Amy) Miller, and Jeffrey (Mary-Pat) Miller; sisters, Judith Keenan, Debee (David) Matthews, and Barbara (Britt) Gardner; and a brother, John (Michelle) Mildenberger. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren. A service will be held at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home located at 106 Shamrock Rd. Chester, MD, on Monday, August 8th at noon with visitation from 10:00 AM – 12:00PM. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in her name.
