She was 67. Mattie was born on June 13, 1943 in Baltimore, MD. She was the daughter of the late James & Martha Cooper. She graduated from Southern High School in Baltimore, MD and worked as a secretary before moving with her family to Kent Island in 1974. Mattie is survived by her husband Phillip Todd of Stevensville, MD; a son, David Jones Jr. of Stevensville, MD; a daughter, Tracy Cohan (Jones) of West Chester, PA; a brother, James Cooper and a sister, Carol Ann Gracie; and two grandchildren, Megan and Michael Cohan. A small, memorial service will be held on August 22 in West Chester, PA for family and friends.
